Animatronics and eerie creatures now lurk in the shadows at “The Maze of Monsters,” a free Halloween walk-through at Guildford Town Centre.
Designed for all ages (children under five may find it too spooky), the low-light, immersive maze takes about two minutes to complete. Expect water-based haunted haze and jumpy animatronics—staff note that characters will not touch visitors.
The attraction runs in Centre Court (lower level) from Wednesday, Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 on the following schedule:
- Monday–Saturday: 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Sunday: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Admission is free, with mall-goers urged to bring non-perishable food donations for the Surrey Food Bank. Guildford Town Centre will match each donated item with a $2 contribution (up to $5,000). Visitors can also enter to win a $1,000 GTC gift card at the maze exit.
Getting there: The quickest access is Entrance 2 on 152 Street, between CIBC and Popeyes.
