TORONTO Scotiabank Arena is in the midst of a major transformation. As part of its $350 million Venue Reimagination Project, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) is revealing a new wave of upgrades under Phase 3 that extend to the arena’s upper levels.
Key Renovations
- The 300 Level concourse is getting a full floor-to-ceiling redesign, with refreshed aesthetics, new digital displays, and fan-friendly gathering hubs.
- A brand-new Loge Club has been added on the 500 Level, reconfiguring eight suites into a social space that holds about 100 people. The club offers all-inclusive food, private restrooms, and elevator access.
- Suites on the 400 and 500 Levels have been completely overhauled, featuring upscale finishes, improved in-suite technology, vaulted ceilings, and more accessible seating.
- To boost accessibility, a new elevator shaft is being constructed on the southwest side, servicing upper suites and concourses.
- A fan-favorite, the Coors Light Chill Zone, is being transformed into a modern social hub. The renovated venue includes a new primary bar, a large mountain-themed installation, and a massive 216-inch LG micro-LED screen.
- Technology upgrades are getting a major boost — expect a better retail and food & beverage experience with new digital concession boards, upgraded audio-visual systems and seamless transaction flows.
Phase History & Vision
The arena’s Reimagination Project launched in 2023. Earlier phases already delivered crucial upgrades: the 100 Level concourse was redesigned, featuring wide, modern walkways, all-gender bathrooms, digital signage, and even a universal washroom and sensory room.
Also introduced in earlier phases were grab-and-go concession stands using Amazon’s “Just Walk Out” technology, plus upgrades to the Molson Brewhouse bar and suites.
MLSE has also curated a museum-quality art collection throughout the arena, celebrating sports, music, and local history.
Looking Ahead
Construction is being carried out while the venue remains fully operational during the NHL and NBA seasons. MLSE says the goal is to not only modernize but also make the arena more accessible, social, and technologically advanced.
Fans are encouraged to check the “Know Before You Go” guide on Scotiabank Arena’s website ahead of their next visit, as some upgrades may impact entry routes or services.
