A shocking stabbing in Surrey’s Whalley neighbourhood left a man fighting for his life Saturday afternoon. Surrey Police responded quickly after receiving emergency calls around 2:30 p.m., discovering a man with serious stab wounds in the 10700-block of King George Boulevard.
The victim, a man in his mid-30s, was immediately transported to a nearby hospital by BC Emergency Health Services. His condition remains critical as medical teams work tirelessly to stabilize him.
While attending to the victim, officers identified and arrested a suspect in his early 40s nearby. At this early stage, the Surrey Police Service has not yet laid charges, as the investigation continues.
