Police issue missing youth alert in Surrey

Surrey Police Service is asking the public for assistance in locating a 13-year-old boy who has not returned home as expected and remains missing. Officers say the situation is out of character and has raised serious concern among both police and family

Teen last seen on Christmas Day

Kado Swetz was last expected home on December 25 but did not return. Police say he has also not been in contact with friends or family since then, which adds to the urgency of the search. Investigators are now turning to the public and social media to help gather information that could lead to his whereabouts

Description of missing youth

Kado is described as 5 foot 3 inches tall, weighing about 115 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. When he was last seen, he was wearing a black puffy jacket, black pants, and black shoes. Police have released his description to help residents recognize him if spotted

Family and police express concern

Authorities say it is unusual for Kado to stay out of touch, and both his family and police are very worried. As a result, Surrey Police are urging anyone who may have seen him or has information to come forward as soon as possible
