RunSurreyRun will take place this Sunday, September 7, 2025, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Holland Park in Surrey, BC. Participants can choose from a 5 km or 10 km walk/run, and for the first time, a 1 km Kids Run will be offered around park walkways.
This year’s highlights include:
Races start at 134th Street, weaving through Surrey City Centre along 132nd Street and University Drive, then finishing at Holland Park. The 5 km is one loop; the 10 km covers two loops.
Founded and directed by Gurjinder Bhurji, RunSurreyRun is entering its fifth annual in-person edition in 2025. The inclusive event draws runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, celebrating Surrey’s multicultural vibrancy, with over 100 languages spoken in the city. Sponsors such as RBC and the City of Surrey help support the event’s growth.
RunSurreyRun transcends sport, fostering community, wellness, and unity. It emphasizes fun over competition, appealing to seasoned athletes, families, seniors, and newcomers alike. Registration & Participation Details
Interested participants can register at RunSurreyRun.com. Late in-person registration is available until September 6. Virtual participants can register for the online race and run between September 4 and 14. Registration packages typically include a finisher medal, optional race T-shirt (order deadline: August 15), race-day refreshments, live chip timing, a $20 New Balance gift card (on select items), RunSurreyRun sticker, leaderboard access, and post-race perks.
