The Peewee squad rolled over Nanaimo’s Southside Dawgs 46–8 at Starlight Stadium in Langford on Nov. 29. Cloverdale Community Football Association president Yeera Sami called it a “decisive” performance, as the Bobcats controlled the game from the opening kickoff.

According to Sami, the Bobcats executed on both sides of the ball. Their offense moved the chains and piled up points, while the defence held the Dawgs in check all afternoon. The victory gives the Bobcats back‑to‑back provincial titles, and the association is already talking about chasing a championship hat trick in 2026.

U14 Cougars lose a heartbreaker in repeat final

However, an early snap on third down led to a costly turnover at Cloverdale’s own five‑yard line. The Dawgs punched in the go‑ahead touchdown, then held on for an 18–16 win despite a late Cougars drive that reached deep into the red zone before time expired.

Even with the tight loss, Sami praised the U14 group for its toughness and discipline on defence.
