Cloverdale Rodeo grows to five days

The Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair is getting bigger in 2026. Rodeo weekend will now start on Thursday and run through to the traditional holiday Monday finale, stretching the event to five full days of action at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds.

Organizers say the extended schedule will bring more music, more attractions and more time for families and rodeo fans to explore the grounds, from the midway and shows to Stetson Bowl events and evening entertainment.

New 2+3 pass: five days for the price of two

To launch the longer run, the Cloverdale Rodeo and Exhibition Association has introduced a new “2+3 Fairgrounds Pass.” The pass offers five days of gate admission for the price of two early-bird entries, priced at $28 plus tax.

The 2+3 pass includes easy in-and-out access, so guests can come and go any day from Thursday to Monday, taking in rides, food, exhibits and shows at their own pace. Organizers released tickets ahead of Christmas so people can gift the rodeo experience to friends and family this year.

Early access to VIP, ride and event tickets

Along with the 2+3 gate pass, tickets for other paid events are also on sale several months earlier than usual. Fans can already buy passes for rides, Stetson Bowl seating, Longhorn Saloon events and the enhanced VIP experiences that debuted in 2025.

Those premium options include the Wild Mustang Lounge in the Stetson Bowl and private suites in the Longhorn, giving guests upgraded views, food and beverage service, and a more exclusive rodeo-night atmosphere.

What to expect on the new Thursday opening

The new Thursday evening opening will look a lot like past Friday kickoffs, with gates opening later in the day and running into the night. Organizers plan a concert and special attractions to set the tone for the weekend, with more detailed programming to come closer to May.

With Thursday taking on the old Friday role, the 2026 Friday will be even busier, with gates opening earlier and a fuller slate of content and entertainment across the fairgrounds. The 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair runs May 14–18 at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds.

How to get tickets

Rodeo fans are encouraged to secure passes early, especially if they want the 2+3 deal or VIP add-ons. Tickets and full information on the 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair, including the new five-day schedule and all available passes, are available at cloverdalerodeo.com.
