Delta’s Barns to Beaches Festival returns June 20 with cycling, live music, artisan markets, and family-friendly rides along a scenic 16-km route.
Delta Gears Up for Barns to Beaches Festival
Delta is set to welcome an exciting new one-day community event this June. The Barns to Beaches Festival, centred at the Southlands Red Barn and nearby outdoor spaces, promises a full day of cycling, music, artisan markets, and adventure for locals and visitors alike.
The city recently approved a partnership with Emcee Kyla Holdings Ltd., the festival’s producer, and will also provide support for site-wide liquor sales through the BC Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch.
Ride, Explore, Celebrate
Cyclists of all levels will find something to enjoy along the 16-kilometre Barns to Beaches Bike Route. The scenic path connects Ladner’s farm stands and breweries with Tsawwassen’s beaches, cafés, and local hotspots.
Festival-goers can choose from:
- Early-morning rides for seasoned cyclists
- Mid-day family rides for casual riders
- Children’s rides within a secure festival zone
Along the route, participants will encounter 10 celebration stations featuring live performances, photo opportunities, snacks, prizes, and cheering crowds to keep spirits high.
Adventure Expo and Farmer’s Market
Beyond cycling, the festival will host an Adventure Expo outside the Red Barn, showcasing outdoor recreation gear, local artisans, and food vendors. A vibrant farmer’s market will also offer fresh produce and unique crafts, creating a lively community atmosphere for all ages.
Mark Your Calendars
The Barns to Beaches Festival will officially kick off on March 3, 2026, when the website launches at barnstobeaches.com. That’s when rider registration opens and the music lineup will be revealed.
With a budget of $150,000, the city anticipates up to 5,000 attendees enjoying this unique celebration of cycling, community, and local culture.
Delta residents and visitors alike can look forward to a day packed with adventure, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun—right from the barns to the beaches.
