Motorcyclist Ticketed After Highway One Crash
A motorcyclist was sent to hospital and fined following a collision near the Langley–Surrey border on Monday afternoon.
Crash Details
According to Cpl. Michael McLaughlin of the BC Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:40 p.m. near 192 Street on Highway One. Investigations revealed that the rider was speeding and collided with the back of a compact car.
Injuries and Charges
The rider sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Authorities issued a ticket for driving without due care and attention.
Police remind drivers to follow speed limits and maintain safe distances to avoid similar incidents.
