Early Monday morning, residents near Production Boulevard and 54 Avenue in Surrey were startled by gunfire. The incident targeted a local business, causing property damage but thankfully no injuries.

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) confirmed that the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) responded to the scene around 3:30 a.m. Officers assessed the damage and secured the area, ensuring no immediate threat to the public.
