Woodland Park Students Back in Class

After a fire struck Woodland Park Elementary last Friday, hundreds of students are finally back in the classroom. The blaze caused significant damage, but thanks to quick planning, learning continues with minimal disruption.

Modular Classrooms and Temporary Relocation

Grades K-3 are now learning in modular classrooms set up on the school grounds. Meanwhile, students in Grades 4-7 have been moved to Regent Road Elementary. They will continue their studies there at least until spring break.

Fire Investigation Underway

Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the fire. While the initial assessment suggested no suspicious activity, the investigation remains ongoing to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Community Relief and Resilience

Parents and teachers expressed relief as children returned to a safe learning environment. The community’s quick response and adaptability ensured that education did not come to a standstill.
