Canadians continued their quest for medals on Day 5 (Feb. 11) of the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Games with athletes across skiing, snowboarding and more in action.
Alpine Skiing and Moguls Action
In men’s Super-G, Canada’s James (Jack) Crawford led the team with a 16th-place finish, while Cameron Alexander was 17th, Brodie Seger 22nd and Riley Seger did not finish.
In women’s freestyle ski moguls, several Canadian skiers reached later rounds. Vancouver’s Jessica Linton and Ashley Koehler, along with Maia Schwinghammer, advanced through qualifiers to finals, aiming for podium positions later in the day.
Figure Skating and Ice Dance
Canada’s top ice dance couples — including Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier — were scheduled for free dance competition, continuing Team Canada’s efforts in figure skating.
Snowboarding Finals and Qualifications
Canadian snowboarder Elizabeth Hosking qualified for the women’s halfpipe final, earning her spot among the world’s best riders later in the competition.
