The first incident occurred just before 9 p.m. at a large barn located near Simpson Road and LeFeuvre Road. Police assisted by managing traffic in the area while fire crews worked to contain the blaze.

Roughly an hour later, emergency services were called to a second fire at an encampment along Peardonville Road, close to Highway 1.
