Sidekick Players put out call for actors for next show
With Danny and Delilah virtually sold out, Delta’s Sidekick Players are casting their second production of the 29th season: Beyond the Sea, written by Kristin da Silva and directed by Cathy Collis.
About the play
Set on a summer day in a small-town pier, the story follows Theo, newly single and struggling with self-image, and Gwen, a witty loner selling boat tour tickets. Their unexpected meeting sparks a tender journey where hope emerges through grief.
Audition details
- Dates: Nov. 2 & Nov. 3
- Time: 7–9 p.m. (first-come, first-served)
- Format: Cold read from the script
- Venue: Tsawwassen Arts Centre, 1172 56th St.
- Notes: Sidekick Players is a non-profit; roles are non-paid.
Roles sought
- Two performers: one male and one female in their 40s (or able to play 40s).
