Air Canada Brings Disney Magic to the Skies
Air Canada has introduced a dazzling new aircraft livery inspired by Disney’s upcoming film Zootopia 2, transforming one of its Airbus A220s into a flying celebration of imagination and storytelling.
Meet the Zootopia 2 Aircraft
Registered as Fin 138, the special Airbus A220 features fan-favourite characters like Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and Flash the sloth—along with new faces from the sequel, including Gary De’Snake and Nibbles Maplestick. The aircraft will operate on routes connecting major cities such as Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, Denver, and Boston.
Set to premiere in theatres on November 26, Zootopia 2 will see this aircraft double as a vibrant “flying billboard” for the film.
Disney Partnership and Marketing Buzz
Andy Shibata, Air Canada’s Vice President of Brand, shared that the collaboration reflects both the joy of travel and the wonder of Disney storytelling. The partnership aims to remind passengers that flying can be as magical as a movie adventure.
Walt Disney Studios Canada echoed the excitement, encouraging fans to join the experience in the skies and on screen. This marks Air Canada’s third Disney-themed aircraft, following previous designs for Turning Red (2022) and Wish (2023).

To celebrate, Air Canada is offering Aeroplan members a chance to win one of two Walt Disney World vacation packages. The collaboration is lighting up social media too, with travelers and aviation enthusiasts sharing photos of the aircraft both on the runway and in the air.
