Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspect in Surrey Child Sex Assault

The Surrey Police Service is asking the public to help identify a man suspected of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in September.

Incident Happened Near 138 Street and 71 Avenue

Police say the assault occurred on Sept. 17 at a business in the area.
According to investigators, the child was approached by an adult man who grabbed her buttocks before fleeing.

The SPS has been investigating the incident since the report was filed.

SPS Releases Suspect Description

The Surrey Police Service has released an image and description of the suspect.
He is described as:

  • Male, approx. 20–30 years old
  • About 5’9″ tall
  • Wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt
  • Dark-coloured overalls
  • Light-coloured hat
  • Light-coloured cross-body bag
  • Over-the-ear headphones
