Drop off your Christmas tree Jan. 3-4 at Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club and support the New Hatchery Building Fund.
Recycle Your Holiday Tree and Support a Great Cause
The sparkle of holiday lights may be fading, but your Christmas tree still has one last mission—giving back. The Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club is gearing up for its annual tree chipping event, and you’re invited to join in.
When and Where to Bring Your Trees
Mark your calendars: Saturday, Jan. 3, and Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Head to the upper parking lot of the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club at 1284 184 St. Bring your tree, make a donation, and watch it get transformed into mulch by the club’s volunteers.
A Tradition of Giving Back
This event isn’t just about tree recycling—it’s about community and supporting a cause. Now in its fifth year, all proceeds go to the SFGC New Hatchery Building Fund. Every tree dropped off and every dollar donated helps fund vital improvements for the club’s hatchery, benefiting local wildlife and future generations of anglers and conservationists.
Join the Festive Fun
Volunteers like James Wilkins and Chris Johnson know the joy of helping their community while giving holiday trees a second life. Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to the area, it’s a simple, meaningful way to recycle your tree responsibly while supporting local conservation efforts.
So, pack up those twinkling pines and spruces, and turn post-holiday cleanup into a celebration of giving back.
