A somber morning unfolded in North Delta on Tuesday, March 24, as police investigated a fatal collision that claimed the life of an adult male pedestrian.

Delta police reported that the incident occurred around 7:10 a.m. at the intersection of Sunwood Drive and 64th Avenue, where the pedestrian was struck while crossing the street. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts by paramedics and officers, the man’s injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Vehicle Remains on Scene, Driver Cooperates
