Police in Surrey are asking the public for help after an 85-year-old man vanished from the Cloverdale area. David Hourigan, who many people call “Bob,” disappeared on the morning of March 9, 2026. Since then, no one has heard from him.
Officers say the situation raises concern. Therefore, they are urging residents to stay alert and share any information that could help locate him.
Last Seen Walking in Cloverdale
Investigators say Hourigan was last seen around 10:15 a.m. near the 18400 block of 66A Avenue in Surrey’s Cloverdale neighbourhood.
After that moment, he did not return home. In addition, he has not contacted family or friends. Because of this, police and relatives quickly began searching the area.

He likely wears a fedora-style hat and a khaki-coloured jacket, similar to what appears in a recent photo.
In addition, Hourigan may be travelling with his small brown and grey Chihuahua named Cindy.

Investigators say Hourigan recently arrived in the area. As a result, he does not know the Lower Mainland well.
