Six Injured After Violent Altercation in Surrey
Surrey Police Service (SPS) is continuing its investigation after a large fight between two groups reportedly broke out in Surrey on the evening of May 12, 2026.
Police responded to the area near 133 Street and 89 Avenue shortly after 8:20 p.m. following reports of a disturbance involving multiple individuals.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located six men suffering from various injuries. Emergency crews provided medical assistance before all six victims were transported to hospital for treatment.
Authorities later confirmed that two individuals remained hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Two Men Arrested During Investigation
According to police, investigators arrested two men in connection with the incident. Officers say both individuals were taken into custody without further problems at the scene.
The Surrey Police Service Major Crime Section has now taken over the investigation as detectives work to determine what led to the violent confrontation.
While the investigation remains active, the two men arrested have since been released under specific conditions as police continue gathering evidence.
