Transit Police Seek Suspect in North Surrey Assault

Metro Vancouver Transit Police are asking for help to identify a sexual assault suspect at Scott Road SkyTrain Park & Ride.

Police Ask Public Help to ID Suspect

Metro Vancouver Transit Police are turning to the public for help in identifying a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman near Scott Road SkyTrain Station. Authorities say all other investigative leads have been exhausted.

“We urge anyone with dash-cam footage or information to come forward,” the police stated on their website.


Incident Occurred at Park and Ride

The assault happened on January 21, 2026, shortly after 4 p.m. A woman was walking from the SkyTrain station to her car in the far corner of the Park and Ride lot, located near 110 Avenue and 126A Street in North Surrey.

According to the report, a man approached her from behind and assaulted her. The woman resisted, prompting the suspect to flee toward the station.


Suspect Description

Authorities describe the suspect as a Caucasian man in his mid-to-late 20s, tall, with a medium build, light-colored eyes, and a partial brown beard. He was last seen wearing a blue zip-up hoodie with the hood pulled up, dark blue jeans, and a black toque.


Police Seek Witnesses

Transit Police are asking anyone who saw the incident, noticed suspicious activity, or has dash-cam footage from the Park and Ride between 3:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to contact them immediately.
